Physical Features

        The Atlas Mountain is

Morocco’s giant. It is

located on the Northern

border of the country. It is

rugged and dry and often

consist of little or some

vegetation at its base. It’s highest peak, Mt. Toubkal,

calls its home here. However, being so dominant, it

often blocks rain and moisture from the Atlantics.

There are also four rivers that runs from the ocean.

These are the Sebou, Oum er-Rhia, Moulouya, and

Bouregreg river which makes up for the lost of water.

Mineral deposits makes up a lot of the

landscape. Mines accompanying the deposits are

located sparsely throughout Morocco, making the

mining industry flourish in recent years.
